Who we are

kutnex.com is operated by Maoyu Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"), a company registered in Taiwan, trading as KUTNEX. By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

This site does not sell anything

We publish product information, fitment guidance and test reports here. Orders, payment, shipping, returns and refunds all happen through Amazon. When you buy one of our products, your contract is formed on Amazon and Amazon's terms and policies govern that sale, including your rights to return the item.

Warranty questions can be raised either through Amazon or by writing to support@kutnex.com. Writing to us does not replace or extend any right you have under Amazon's policies or under the law where you live.

Technical information: read this part

Battery terminals sit directly on a live power source. A loose, wrong or badly fitted terminal can cause a short circuit, arcing, burns, damage to the vehicle's electrical system, or fire. We take the accuracy of what we publish seriously, and you should treat it seriously too.

• Dimensions are measured on our own parts. Where we publish a body dimension or weight, it is measured, not copied from a drawing. Where we have not measured a variant, the page says "not published" rather than showing a number borrowed from a similar model.
• Clearance is your vehicle's, not ours. We can tell you how big a terminal is. We cannot tell you what will fit under your bonnet, because that depends on your battery, its post height, the cables already on it and everything else around it. Measure your own engine bay.
• We do not publish torque figures we have not established. Where a torque value is missing, it is missing on purpose. Do not substitute a figure from a generic fastener table.
• Guides are general guidance. Our installation and maintenance articles describe good practice. They are not written for your specific vehicle and cannot account for its condition, modifications or manufacturer instructions.

Always follow your vehicle manufacturer's instructions, disconnect the battery correctly, use insulated tools, and if you are not confident doing the work, have it done by a qualified auto electrician. You are responsible for deciding whether a part is suitable for your vehicle and for fitting it safely.

Test reports

The SGS reports published on this site are genuine test reports on samples we submitted. We reproduce them so you can check our claims against the source rather than take our word for it.

They should be read for what they are. A test report records results for the specific samples tested on the dates shown; it is not a certification of a product line, and SGS does not endorse our products or our conclusions. Where we have masked part of a report, the page says so and says why; no test method, condition, measurement or result has been altered.

Material properties vary within the permitted ranges of a specification from batch to batch. We describe our material platform accordingly, and we do not claim that every part is identical to the tested sample at the atomic level.

Availability and changes

Products, specifications and prices change. Availability shown on Amazon is authoritative; a product described here may be out of stock, revised or discontinued. We may change, move or remove any part of this site at any time without notice.

Our content

The text, photographs, diagrams, page designs and site code are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright.

You may read, print and share our pages for your own use, and quote short extracts with a link back. You may not republish our guides, copy our product photography, or reuse our content in a catalogue, listing or website of your own, whether or not you credit us. We take this seriously: our written guidance and our images are the part of this business that cannot be copied off a factory floor.

Trademarks

KUTNEX and Kaas are our brand names. Amazon, YouTube and other names appearing on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners; their appearance here does not imply any endorsement of us by them, or of them by us.

Links to other sites

Where we link to Amazon, YouTube or elsewhere, we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their terms apply once you leave ours.

Disclaimer

We make this site available "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every figure on it is free of mistakes. If you find something wrong, please tell us at support@kutnex.com — we would rather correct it than defend it.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Limitation of liability

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on information published on it, including loss of profit, loss of use, or damage to a vehicle arising from a fitting decision you made.

This does not affect any rights you have in relation to a product you bought, which are governed by Amazon's policies and by the consumer law where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), and the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
